Mfuse
and Probability PLC have come together in a deal expected to
bring mobile casino games to thousands of punters the the world
over.
Mfuse
which counts Sportingbet Founder Mark Blandford amongst its
directors is a mobile gambling platform developer and owner of
the NOVO Provision and NOVO Transact platforms, which manage the
backend account and transaction capabilities for various clients
across the many networks and handsets in the mobile space.
Mfuse counts betting giants William Hill, Betsson, Bet365,
Sportingbet, Paddy Power and Ladbrokes amongst clients using the
NOVO platforms to handle the backend transaction capabilities of
their mobile betting service.
Probability PLC is an AIM listed mobile casino games developer
which shot to prominence in May 2008 when they announced the
development of blackjack games for iPhone users. They have
a current suite of 30 casino games for handheld devices.
Now Muse
and Probability have come together to combine their games and
back end platform, in a move that will considerably reduce the
time that operators will need to wait to bring mobile gambling
services to market. While previously and developed games
had to be integrated into the casinos payment processing
systems, now the backend system comes with the games.
While
mobile casinos are yet to fulfill their expected potential,
Juniper Research still believes the mobile gambling industry
will grow from $1.35bn in 2006 to $16.6bn by 2011.
No doubt
there are plenty of online casinos wanting a slice of this pie.
But the large investment required to get a mobile product up and
running is still restricting the offering to the larger casino
operators at present.
