Gambling software developer Million-2-1
gets its slots game added to iPhone's App Store

While there are a number
of iPhone casino games
available for users to play on their iPhone, as yet none have
been endorsed by Apple and added to their App Store for quick
download.
That is until now.
Million 2-1, subsidiary of gambling software specialists Game
Technology (IGT) have had their latest slots game, Cleopatra
added to the App Store...making it one of the first gambling
operators to do so.
But before you rush out
and download the game, bear in mind that is only available in
free play mode - all it will cost you is the $1.19 download fee.
Although some commentators are suggesting that the achievement
gives Million 2-1 a leg up on the competition in the race
for the first 'real money' gambling game to be added to the app
store should Apple change their policy on gambling games if and
when the legislative environment in the US changes accordingly.
Cleopatra
is a 5 reel, 16 pay-line slot which offers global leader board
of free play credit winners. But the game is easily
convertible to a real play slot game should Apple give the green
light.
No doubt this development
will have the folk at Playtech, Spin3, Probability and Hop-On
salivating at the possibility of getting their games added to
the app store as well, albeit in free play mode.
California based mobile
handset application provider Hop-On Inc have made
no secret of their
ambitions to be font and centre in the iPhone App Store in
anticipation of Barney Frank's UIGEA repealing legislation
getting up be years end.
